About
Helen Fleming is an artist based in Perth, Scotland who has a Bachelors degree with honours in Contemporary Art and Contextualised Practice. Her artwork expresses personal experiences, emotions and femininity. Materials typically used in her work are alcohol inks, fine liner and paper for cutting, digital editing, and even delicate fabrics. Often in quiet contemplation she prefers to express herself through delicate methods such as creating minimalist figurative images through line work and silhouettes. Creating and making has remained a passion throughout Fleming’s life; she considers doing the things that make you happy are most important for a good life. Fleming was commissioned to create illustrations for a bespoke tailor. She has also exhibited work in various exhibitions such as the Generator Project (2018), World Aids Day (2017) and Platform Festival in A.K. Bell Library (2018).
